Getting fat in.... Cameron Highlands, Malaysia! (Part I)

One of the best chicken satays ever!

sunny 24 °C

I've just discovered one of the best chicken satays ever! And where else but in the highlands of Malaysia.. Cameron Highlands!

The chicken satay was tender, juicy and freshly grilled. The ketupat (or rice cake) was soft, moist and melted in my mouth. Yummmmmmm...

Satay Hajjah Halijah is located at the Malay open air food centre diagonally opposite Starbucks in Tanah Rata town. There's only one Starbucks in Tanah Rata so you can't miss it!

p.s. Dan, Yilin, hope the pictures don't make you miss our food even more than you already do!

Bleah! You know still say :P

We are seeking comfort in new cruisine in Ecuador (just arrived today!) and chifas (Chinese restaurants) which seem to be all around us! I tried white corn with salt on the bus today, served with a chunk of cool powdery white cheese. It was really good! Can't wait to try more varieties of the corn I saw in your Peru posts.

Patrick is a very enthusiastic model for your blog photos. He seems to be enjoying himself and posing pretty well!
